Vegan Sweet Potato Pizza Base Gluten Free

 Ingredients

Pizza Base

  • 500 grams Sweet Potato
  • 2 cups Oat Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli Flakes
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Pinch Pink Salt & Pepper

Toppings

  • 4-5 tbsp Tomato Marinara
  • Sliced Red Onion
  • Black Olives
  • Artichokes
  • Vegan Cheese
  • Basil
  • Spinach
  • Cherry Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Steam the sweet potato until cooked. Then mash it in a bowl until you get a smooth consistency.

  2. Add the oat flour and all dry ingredients and seasonings to the bowl and mix and combine well with the sweet potato.

  3. Add the pizza “dough” to a lined baking tray, preferably round. Using a spatula, spread the dough around the base to create a circular pizza base. If it’s too sticky, add water to the spatula.

  4. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 20 mins at 180 C (fan).

  5. Take the pizza out of the oven and add all your toppings to the pizza then bake again for another 10 minutes.

    Vegan Sweet Potato Brownies Recipe

     Ingredients
    • 9 Medjool Dates
    • 500 grams Sweet Potato
    • 100 grams Oat Flour (blend some oats)
    • 100 grams Almond Flour (ground almonds)
    • 1 pinch Pink Salt
    • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
    • 50 grams Vegan Chocolate Chips
    • Maple Syrup to cover
    • 1/2 Cup Raw Cacao Powder

    Instructions

    1. Steam the sweet potatoes until soft. Then blitz them in a food processor with the pitted dates and the coconut oil.

    2. Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix.

    3. Add the dry and wet ingredients together and mix well. Also, add your chocolate chips!

    4. You can taste the mixture at this point to see if you’d like extra sweetness, in which case you can add maple syrup. I find that it is guilt free and sweet enough just the way it is!

    5. Place the mixture lined baking dish and cook in a pre-heated oven for 30-40 mins at 180C (fan).
